Membership Plaques, Decals & Certificates BBB plaques, decals and certificates of membership identifies your company to customers and clients as a member in good standing of the BBB Inc., dedicated to maintaining exceptional customer relations and the highest standards of business practice.

Membership Ad Seal – Members can display the BBB Membership Ad Seal in their advertising, stationary and more.  The Ad Seal program is another way to let your customers and clients know that your organization is a BBB Member in good standing.

BBB and Visa U.S.A. Partnership – The two most trusted brands in both the traditional and the online marketplace have joined forces to promote consumer trust and confidence on the Internet.  The shopping campaign promotes safe online shopping and raises awareness about BBBOnLine’s Reliability Gold Seal program. Member Reliability Reports – A brief description of your firm, products and services is available to every potential customer who inquires about your business or organization by phone, fax, mail, and internet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The report highlights your participation as a BBB member.

Sponsorship Opportunities – Member sponsorships are available on the BBB web site and in our bi-monthly news letter.

Membership Directory - Annual Membership Directory with a distribution of over 41,000.

News Letter - A bi-monthly publication exclusively for members and their employees. It provides timely and informative articles that affect you and our community.

Member Roster – This listing introduces the new and renewed members.  Members are listed by type of business including firm name, telephone number, town or city location, and year of establishment.  The membership roster is available at all times on the World Wide Web, at www.bbbnela.org, .We provide a hyperlink from your company’s Member Reliability Report to your web site.

Community Patron Support - For an additional one-time fee, for the life of your membership, you may provide the BBB with your company logo for inclusion in your Member Reliability Report.  This feature will visually associate the reader with your company and insure they have the correct Member Reliability Report and/or assist them later on in their transaction process to know they are dealing with the correct company.

Charity Reports– The BBB is the only source that evaluates charities in accordance with our 23 national standards to inform you as to how much of your charitable donation actually goes to the cause.

Business Standards – The Standards of Membership, Code of Online Business Practices and business ethics promoted by the Bureau, and adhered to by its members, foster customer confidence and promote a fair marketplace for all businesses.

Advertising Guidelines and Reviews – These guidelines for accuracy in your advertising insure compliance with federal, state and local laws, as well as the BBB Do’s and Don’ts in Advertising.  This provides a forum to challenge unfair or unsubstantiated claims by your competitors.  Bureau staff will review any print or broadcast advertisements about which your firm is unsure or skeptical of.

Consumer Education – By educating your potential customers to investigate before they invest, the Bureau can steer customers away from unethical organizations and toward responsible businesses like yours.

Bureau Information Service Reports on businesses, charities, and  organizations are available by telephone from our Bureau Information Specialists.

Complaint Mediation – The BBB as an unbiased third party, preserving customer goodwill and helping you to improve your customer service, handles informal mediation of customer complaints.

Arbitration – The national BBB AUTO LINE program cooperates with selected major automobile manufacturers to settle disputes in an informal, fast, free and fair environment using BBB-certified volunteer arbitrators.  The Bureau also offers arbitration services under the BBBOnLine Gold Seal and Advertising Seal programs.

Voice in the Community – For our community to prosper, people must have confidence in their business institutions and professional organizations.  The BBB, Inc. is the only incorporated, non-profit, fraud-fighting organization that speaks out for you.

Protection Against Fraud – The Bureau helps legitimate businesses retain profit dollars by working closely with government and other agencies to decrease abuses and put illegal schemes out of business.
